Member Supported Makerspaces

The sign out of TechShop, one of the largest member supported makerspaces in the US.

Some makerspaces are supported by membership fees.  These are more common than free, public makerspaces so if you're looking for a makerspace near you and haven't found any free ones, you may want to take a look at our member supported makerspaces.  With equipment that would otherwise be too costly to have access to, member supported makerspaces are becoming very popular especially in urban environments, where it may be inconvenient to store fabricaiton equipment in a private residence.  If you belong to a member supported makerspace that isn't listed here, please drop us a line and we'll be sure to add you!
