Headquarters at Rutgers

A view of Headquarters from the street, nearly unchanged from days of Camp Kilmer

Appropriately nickednamed Headquarters, the Livingston Campus Hackerspace was once the post headquarters for Camp Kilmer during World War II.

Today, the makerspace (located at 35 Berrue  Circle on the Livingston Campus) comprises approximately 1700 square feet on the second floor that includes an open floor plan of classroom and hacking space (complete with a pool table), a dedicated room for prototyping equipment, workshop, workstations, and offices.  Staffed by a platoon of engineers, Headquarters is open from 1:30pm - 4:30pm Monday thru Friday, or by group arrangement.  Meetups for 3D printing club are on Wednesday 8pm-10pm.  As the year continues, more hours will be added.
